Highland Farms is a horse boarding facility located in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.
We cater to hunter/jumper clientele with large, well-maintaned indoor and outdoor rings plus access to beautiful trails! Our barn offers 30 spacious stalls and our boarding is fully customizable to suit each horse's needs.
Our amenities meet the needs of every rider and discipline. We have stocked our riding rings with GGT footing, providing a safe environment for both horse and rider. The rings are equipped with a full set of professionally made jumps. As an added bonus, the indoor is attached to the barn with a climate controlled viewing room, so you never have to trek out into inclement weather at Highland!
OUR FACILITIES
PASTURES & TURNOUT
Private, pair or group turnout is available depending on your horses needs and your requests. Fields are large and mostly flat, which is a rarity in this area of Middletown. All fields have wonderful, lush grass that develops in the spring and fields are rotated and re-seeded annually. Fencing is wood with braided electric along the top panel to prevent socializing over the fence line.
ROUND PEN
Our 60′ round pen is available for use year round. This is a great training tool for all horses and riders, whether looking to break a young horse or work on natural horsemanship, this is a perfect place to try new methods of training!
BARNS
Our 4 barns can house 30 horses comfortably. The main barn has 2 grooming stalls, as well as several grooming areas in the aisle-way, a heated tack room, feed, laundry room, an indoor wash stall with heat lamps, and a heated bathroom. The indoor arena is attached to the main barn and accessible directly from the aisle way with a climate controlled viewing room.
Brushes and grooming equipment is provided as well as shampoos and other bathing supplies. We have fresh, clean towels available for use at all times. We even have a horse vacuum available for your grooming needs!
INDOOR ARENA
Highland Farm proudly presents our beautiful indoor ring. Fully stocked with GGT (German Geo Textile) footing. Courses are always set with a variety of professionally made jumps and redesigned regularly.
OUTDOOR ARENA
Our outdoor ring is fully fenced and has GGT footing. Fully outfitted with professional jumps available for your use and an automated sprinkler system that waters the ring every morning in the spring and summer, making the outdoor ring a wonderful and safe place to ride.
The Highland Farms Staff consists of highly trained and educated professionals who are serious about developing equestrians of all ages, caring for the horses who reside at our facility, and creating a fun and safe environment for all.
